         I have over 30 years and 11,000 hours of aviation experience. Currently, I am a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner in general aviation and a pilot for one of the nation's major airlines. I spent 20 years flying in the U.S. military; over seven years flying helicopters in the Army and over twelve years flying in the Air Force. I have been an instructor pilot in general aviation as well as the U.S. Air Force Academy.

          My formal education started with a Bachelors degree in Professional Aeronautics. I then obtained a Masters in Public Administration and a Ph.D. in Business Administration. My graduate and post-graduate work focused on the aviation industry.
